Mexico defeats Ecuador to win first World Cup knockout match since 1986

Celebrations broke out across Mexico after the National Team won its first knockout stage match in 40 years.

Mexico score twice in the first half and held on to defeat Ecuador and earn a spot in the round of sixteenth. They’ll be playing in their home turf against the heavily favorite England team.

Team USA takes on Bosnia in California tonight.
