
The Mexican Government’s Security Cabinet reports on the results of ‘Operation Northern Border’ for November 10, 2025.
Since the operation began on February 5, some 8,892 suspects have been arrested and 6,813 firearms, 1,171,913 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 31,247 magazines, 109,108.6 kg of drugs, including 493.92 kg of fentanyl, 5,511 vehicles, and 1,067 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California


In Tecate, two Barrett rifles, 10 firearms, 15 magazines, 161 rounds of ammunition, 40 kg of marijuana, two vehicles, and a property were seized.
– Nuevo León

In Santa Catarina, 15 kilograms of marijuana were seized.
– Sinaloa



In another operation in the same municipality, 26 bladed weapons, 11 cell phones, and 11 cell phone chargers were seized.
In Culiacán, three storage facilities containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 3,550 liters of substances used in the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 72 million pesos (US$3.93 million).
– Sonora



In Agua Prieta, two suspects were arrested, and 50 doses of methamphetamine, 13 doses of cocaine, and 135 marijuana cigarettes were seized.
